Liz has been serving in Honduras for over 7 years. She felt God’s call to go, serve and share the love of Jesus with the Honduran people, and has walked in obedience in God’s leading ever since. Prior to Saving Grace, Liz worked in the Kids Ministry at The Chapel church for 12 years, and was the Kids Director for the last 2.5 years. Her love for Jesus and her love for serving families in Honduras has become her passion. She believes Saving Grace can make an impact for the Kingdom and transform the lives of those she serves. She believes we can do more to help provide a life to thrive, not just survive in Honduras.
Angie Blevins – Director of Operations

Angie has spent the majority of her working career working with missions and serving impoverished people. She has experience with working and overseeing in-country staff, working closely with missionaries and mission teams. She coordinates mission groups along with vitamin distribution teams in several areas in Honduras. She brings so much knowledge, experience and heart for Jesus to Saving Grace. She works closely with our Honduras partners to help stand in the gap between poverty and living life abundantly. She has dedicated her life to making a positive change in the lives of those who so desperately need it.

David Faust – President of the Board
Meet the President of our governing board of directors David Faust. He has 9 years experience with nonprofit work through Habitat for Humanity, where he was President of their governing board. He is also co-founder of SGIM.He went to Honduras in July of 2022 and was all in for the people of Honduras and our mission.
Kristi Manwaring – Treasurer
Meet our treasurer of the board, Kristi Manwaring Salyer. With her absolute love for Honduras and her banking background is an integral part of our board. Kristi is another one that has served in Honduras countless times. Her smile is infectious, and her love encourages all she encounters. We are so thankful to have her and her expertise on our board.
Carrie Mahler – Secretary
Meet Carrie Mahler, our secretary of the board. When she first went to serve in Honduras, she had no idea the impact it would have on her life. She has helped Hondurans build pilas, have chickens, and this little guy in the picture get the medical attention he so desperately needed. By Carrie following God’s lead to Honduras, it helped lead her to a position at her church where she is the admin in the youth department. Because she said Yes to going, she is forever changed.
Jose Mendez-Flores
Meet Jose, who is also on our board. He is serves an important role as our translator in all matters with our Honduran partners. He is an electrician and has helped with many projects in Honduras to help with all things electrical. He has a gift to connect with the people and children we serve. They see him as family. Jose has grown so much in his faith by allowing himself the opportunity go be the hands and feet of Christ to our Honduras friends.
Jesse Ringen
Meet Jesse Ringen, who brings so much construction expertise to our Board of Directors. He is a building and construction contractor that aids us in our construction projects in Honduras. He has worked directly with Honduran masons and construction workers to help our teams understand the projects we work in country.
