MISSION TEAMS

Have you ever had a strong feeling that you were meant to do more? A whisper calling you to trust Him to help others?  Many times, God speaks to us with an inner voice that only our hearts can hear.  A mission trip is a joyous heart journey.

Saving Grace invites you and your church to serve alongside us and our Honduras team.  We take care of your church mission team from the time you begin planning your trip to the day your team returns home. We are by your side through this God serving journey. 

Here are a few key points to know before you go:

  • We ask that there be a minimum of 10 travelers, though we welcome larger groups.

  • The cost per traveler is $800, which covers food in country, lodging, transportation, translators, and in-country support.

  • Each traveler must have a valid U.S. passport.

  • Travelers will purchase their own airfare, and we can help your team find the best flight options. The team is required to arrive and depart together on the same flight.

  • A Saving Grace team member will meet your group when you arrive in Honduras and remain with you until your departure from the airport.

Trip Application & Registration

If you are interested in participating in a mission trip, each participant must complete a Trip Application through our JotForm link. This application is how we officially track those who are signing up for a trip.

Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, a Saving Grace staff member will contact you with next steps.

A nonrefundable deposit of $150 is required within three weeks of signing up to secure your spot on the team.

Preparing for Your Trip

After acceptance, participants will receive a Saving Grace travel packet with important information to help you prepare for your trip. This packet includes guidance, preparation materials, and a timeline outlining financial breakdowns and payment due dates.

All trips must be paid in full before departure.

Planning Your Experience

We work closely with your team to plan your trip from beginning to end. We provide training materials to help prepare for the experience and offer ideas for fundraising to support your trip financially. Our team will answer questions, assist with logistics, and help organize the projects and activities your team will participate in once travel dates are selected.

We believe mission teams grow deeply in their faith journey through open hearts and willing hands. Together, we connect Christ’s love with the people of Honduras.
