SAVING WATER PROGRAM

Clean water is a challenge for so many families in Hondurans. Few areas have running water, and most impoverished families must carry water. Many times, the burden falls on the children and depending on how far away the water source is, some children could walk most of the day, back and forth carrying small amounts of water in 2-liter bottles or any other vessel their hands can carry. This can leave no time for school or play.

Saving Grace puts children back in school by building families a concrete water storage system called a pila. This can free a child’s burden and provide an opportunity for education to help escape the chains of poverty. The Saving Water Program is one of our sustainable programs and hires local brick masons to build the pilas as well as a water truck to fill it. The cost for a concrete pila with an attached shower for a family to bathe is $450.00.

BUILD A SAFE HOME

The reality for most families in Honduras that live outside the main cities, do not live in structurally sound housing. Most impoverished families live in homes that are constructed out of sticks, mud and stones. They experience the rainy season each year from July-November and many houses are washed away or need major repairs during this time.

One of our mission team members constructed a metal block machine that uses 10% concrete and 90% sand and dirt using compression to make solid earth blocks. These blocks allow an affordable way to build much safer block homes.
Our mission teams help build earth block homes.

Be the Reason
Hope Reaches Honduras

Every gift to Saving Grace International Ministries moves us closer to a stronger, healthier future for families in Honduras.

Your donation helps open new feeding centers where children receive daily meals and spiritual encouragement. It helps build a community medical clinic so families no longer travel hours for basic care. It provides vehicles that carry food, medicine, and mission teams into villages that would otherwise go unseen. It equips schools with supplies and training so teachers can empower the next generation.

This year, we are working toward a $200,000 goal to expand our reach and serve more communities with consistency and compassion. Your generosity fuels practical solutions and lasting transformation.

Whether you give once or choose to give monthly, you are helping fill empty plates, strengthen homes, support education, and bring healing within reach.

Give today, and become part of a mission that changes lives.
